Licensed Outpatient Therapist

Therapeutic Connections is seeking licensed therapists to provide outpatient therapy to children, adolescents, and adults with identified behavioral health diagnosis. The selected individual will assist with the specific mental health needs of the identified client as they relate to their diagnosis.   Outpatient therapy will include psycho- educational activities/interventions designed to assist the client with the reduction of maladaptive behaviors. Services are provided with client-centered and family- centered approaches and are delivered through time-limited, goal specific interventions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • To provide therapeutic interventions to the identified client in order to enhance and foster the client’s optimal functioning and interactions in the home and community.
  • To continually assess client needs, service availability and appropriateness.
  • To work cooperatively with treatment team members and the family in the provision of services to meet the goals developed in the person's treatment plan.
  • To provide the appropriate documentation for service delivery including treatment goals, progress notes and submit said documentation as specified by medicaid and private health insurance standards.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Be available for approximately 1-2 hours per week per client for service delivery. 
  • Document direct service delivery and submit said documentation according to Medicaid and private health insurance standards.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
A Master’s degree in a Mental Health field (e.g.: Social Work, Psychology, Counseling) Licensure/Certification or Provisional Licensure/Certification Eligible

PRP Rehabilitation Coordinator

​The primary functions of the Rehabilitation Coordinator shall be to perform all casework duties on a day-to-day basis.  The Rehabilitation Coordinator will report to the Rehabilitation Specialist.  Pre-service training is provided for a Coordinator. The training is provided virtually prior to starting..
 
The Coordinator tasks shall be inclusive of, but not limited to the following:

  • Provide rehabilitation support to clients by implementing in home strategies, perform life skills training, and facilitate life skills groups, crisis intervention.
  • Participate in treatment teams and other clinical and educational activities.
  • Develop and implement individual service modalities tailored to the specific needs of clients; and
  • All other duties necessary in the continued operation of the company.
 
Education and Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in a health-related field.
  • An associate’s degree in a health-related field.
  • 30 hours, or their equivalent, of college credit toward a bachelor’s degree in a health-related field; or
  • 1 year of work experience in a supervised mental health setting.

Therapeutic Mentor

Therapeutic Connections is seeking motivated and energetic individuals who are passionate in making a positive impact in the lives of children and youth.  The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and youth with behavioral challenges as well as having the ability to form encouraging relationships.

Under general supervision, provides one-on-one behavioral interventions with children and youth receiving specialty mental health.  The Therapeutic Mentor will provide services in the client’s home/residential placement/school and/or during community outings.

 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Provide one on one direct behavioral intervention with children/youth in various environments
  • Serves as a positive role model for the child/youth
  • Provide time-structured activities
  • Provide immediate behavioral reinforcements
  • Complete all required documentation
  • Attend group supervision
  • Ensure the safety of the client at all times
  • Provide appropriate time-out strategies
  • Develop behavioral treatment plans with input of treatment team 
  • Collaboration with and support from the family caregivers’ efforts to provide a positive environment for the child/youth
  • Ability to work evening and weekend hours
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma Some College Preferred
  • Human Service experience
  • Criminal Background Check
  • Pre-Service Training
  • CPR First Aid
  • Drivers license

Administrative Associate

We are seeking a professional individual to join our rapidly growing mental health clinic. The ideal candidate will have exceptional administrative skills, outpatient mental health experience and posses the willingness to learn.
     Responsibilities

  • Manage office calendar
  • Manage schedule psychiatrist appointments 
  • Send appointment confirmation via email and text messages
  • Transfer discharged and historic files to the electronic health records system
  • Secure authorizations and reauthorizations for the clinic and psychiatric rehabilitation programs
  • Conduct client eligibility verification checks 
  • Answer phone calls check voicemails 
  • Attend weekly supervision with the Administrative Manager
  • Attend monthly administrative meetings 
  • Reengage discharged clients (when applicable)
  • Other duties as assigned


       Qualifications

  • An associate degree in a health-related field
  • 1 year of work experience in a mental health clinic setting
  • Available to work flexible work schedule (including evenings if required)
  • Superb organizational skills  
  • Ability to guide, direct or influence people 
  • Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with mentally or emotionally disabled persons and their families  
  • Must have a current and valid Maryland driver’s license in accordance with Maryland DMV driver’s license eligibility requirements 
  • Criminal background check is required
  • Prior experience working with youth, adolescents, and adults in an urban environment is preferred; not required 
  • Bilingual preferred; not required
